Blaine has been making these Reverse hoops for over 40 years. He first made them for his sisters to wear as a more comfortable option to sleep in or talk on the phone while at their jobs. 
 
Measurements are Approximate, These are meant to be able to bend in and out a little bit.
These hoops are fed in through the back of the ear. Pictured is 18 Gage wire size.
 
The ball on the one end of the hoops can be made larger if needed, you will want this if you have larger holes or if your holes have stretched much over time
